I've been eating tomato soup for years but almost always it was powdered soup. Finally, and after a huge search throughout the Internet for a soup that looked good and was 100% natural (loads of recipes use canned tomatos), I decided to make my own.
I must say that I have to try another day making one with oven roasted tomatos, because it has to have a great particular flavour, so if I ever make it don't doubt I will write you a post with the recipe and th results.

INGREDIENTS (For 4)
  • 2kg of red tomatos

  • 4 sundried tomatos
  • 1/2 tablespoon of fresh chopped basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chopped rosemaryn
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (it may need more)
  • 1 onion
  • Salt
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil

First of all peel the tomatos. You can peel then with a knife (it's a pitty because you waste more), you can dipp them in boiling water or, in cas you've got a gas kitchen) you can pass them over the flame.
Chop the onion in not very big pieces and place it with oil in a big pot. Cook it to medium heat with a bit of salt. When golden add the tomatos and rise the heat. Don't stop stiring for around  5 minutes. Lower the heat, add the rosemaryn, basil, dried tomatos, cover it and let it cook for 20 minutes.
Blend everything and pass it through a CHINO to get rid of the seeds.
Serve hot and enjoy it!! :)
