INGREDIENTES
- 1/2 taza de agua
- 1/4 taza de vinagre de vino blanco
- 1/4 taza azúcar
- 3 cucharadas de sal
- 1 pepino
- 1 cucharada de eneldo fresco
- Pimienta negra
Partid el pepino en rodajas, no demasiado finas, y espolvoread con la sal. Colocad sobre un colador y dejar que pierdan agua durante una hora.
En un cazo colocad el líquido y el azúcar y mezclad hasta que hierva.
Añadid a un bote la pimienta, el eneldo y el pepino en rodajas y cubrid con el líquido. Tapad y dejar que macere durante una semana.
Nota: Si se quieren hacer dulces, en vez de 1/4 taza de azúcar se pondría 1/3.

Since I was little I've always loved pickled vegetables, specially onions and cucumbers. The fact of finding mini cucumbers drew me back but recently I thought why not making sliced pickles, that although I had ate them several times were never in my cooking plans.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons of salt
- 1 cucumber
- 1tablespoon of fresh dill
- Black pepper
In a saucepan place the liquid and sugar and mix until it boils.
Add to a jar the pepper, dill, sliced cucumber and cover with the liquid. Close the lid while hot and let it brine of a week.
Note. In case you want them sweeter replace the 1/4 cup of sugar for 1/3 cup.
